Brought on as motion designer alongside a full creative team, then ended up carrying the majority of the production myself after the plan changed midway through.
Started with a five-person team. By the end, I'd designed, sourced, animated, and scheduled the majority of the project solo.
Elysian AI's CEO briefed myself and a producer directly. From there, we built out the team for the project: an art director for concept design, a copywriter for the script, and a sound designer for the final audio mix.
Midway through, the art director wasn't able to deliver. Rather than stall the project, I designed every frame myself, presented the new direction to the client, and got it signed off to keep things moving on schedule.
I researched and sourced everything that gave the piece its scale: public archive footage for the intro, stock imagery of soldiers, and 3D models of soldiers, drones, and a bomb disposal robot, which I used to build a 3D ground map for the transition sequence.
I animated the piece start to finish, selected the music, and sourced voice talent options for the client to approve. Once the final cut was signed off, I handed the audio over to the sound designer for the final mix and foley. I also mapped out the full production schedule from kickoff to delivery.
